I read lots of food blogs and I’m absolutely loving the amazing amount of Christmas baking that has been on the blogosphere over the last week or so.
I thought I would share some with you guys.
I absolutely love read Fig Jam and Lime Cordial by Celia. This recipe for racines cake looks like the most delicious dense chocolate cake even though she had some drama’s baking it.
A Beautiful Mess is one of my every day reads, Elsie and Emma (and their crew) post the most amazing recipes, DIY and other adventures and really make you feel like you’re part of their team. They shared this recipe which I cant wait to try, it’ll be a first for me.
Ever wanted to eat chocolate and feel good by doing it? Then you need to stop by Chocolate-Covered Katie. Her healthy dessert blog has been great inspiration for me, while re-jigging my love for baking, and trying to add healthier ingredients. I’ve never heard of these cookies before but they look like a must try for the holiday season.
I don’t only love Claire K Creations because she has an awesome name, but also because her recipes are to die for! I’ve always love baking merignues, but have never thought to do this to them.
Is pumpkin more for Thanksgiving? Well we don’t have that here, so I think this pumpkin pie would be great for Christmas too. Elise writes over at Hungry Hungry Hippie and I love reading her new vegan and vegetarian food inventions!
I’ve just made my first ever batch of Gingerbread (it’ll be coming up soon), but this one looks delicious. This addition by Shez at One Bite More, of blackberries is inventive and exciting.
Have you ever baked a Christmas cake? We usually leave that to Grandma, but one I saw this one I started to think that I should give it a go. Lorraine at Not Quite Nigella has the most amazing food adventures and stories and mouth-watering recipes.
Charlie has so many fantastic stories about the adventures of her family. Hotly Spiced is such a joy to read, always providing funny real life anecdotes along with delicious, fresh recipes. This Christmas recipe of her mum’s, I think would make a great gift idea.
I’m going to keep cooking some of my Mum’s recipes, but I think I’ll have to give some of these a go too.
Have you come across anything great on the blogosphere recently? What is your must bake for Christmas?
